Do internet marketing strategies work just for the gurus?

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

What is the factor that make Internet marketing strategies work for “the gurus” and even some of the newbies but not for you even though you’ve read all of their books and “been there, done that”? Is it really just knowledge? Believe me, so often I have been asking myself this question time and time again. You see, I am already “quite successful” as some people would call it as I have been fulltime for more than 4,5 years. But what you probabIy didn”t know is that it took me a very long time to get into the category of marketers who are making their living online. Back then, it felt like an eternity and it took a lot of long hours and sweat to get there. Let me tell you this: There are no magical solutions, some kind of push-buttons for Internet marketing success - you have to work and invest your time like in any other business!

Minnesota Investment Property “Crap Shoot”

Sunday, July 29th, 2007

Some people are “lucky”. But you have to remember, sometimes people who bet on the horses or the dogs are “lucky”. This type of investor looks at real estate investing in the same way pick something at random and hope for the best.

Sure, these guys have lost money in the past, and probably will in the future. Everyone makes mistakes. But the money they have made Minnesota Investment Property far outshines the little bit they have lost in the course of learning the business. That is a far cry from stumbling down the path of financial ruin because you assume it’s a crap shoot where you need to “get lucky”.

That Guy With “The Voice”

Sunday, July 29th, 2007

You’ve heard him - that Guy with “the voice”. The TV promo voice. He does announcements, commercials, advertising jingles.

Most people who try to do a voice over run things together, speak too fast or too slow, use filler words and sounds, and mumble, among other things. It’s not that much of an issue when you’re having a face-to-face conversation with someone because they can always ask you to repeat yourself.

A voice-over can be used to manufacture an ironic twist, or to make a statement in the movie. This is the creative element. It can be a character narrating, or miss-matched voices speaking and the speaking does not match the characters on screen.

Pedestrian Walkways for outdoor events

Friday, July 27th, 2007

When you’re planning an outdoor event the only thing that you can’t plan is the weather.  Make sure that you provide a safe and dry way for your visitors to walk through your venue. Heavy duty mats from DuraDeck provide temporary pedestrian walkways that are easy to use and configure to meet your specifications.

Ranitidine for wart removal and cure

Friday, July 20th, 2007

Ranitidine (a generic form of Zantac) and other anti ulcer drugs like Tagamet have been shown to be effective in shrinking warts to the point where they are almost not noticeable at all as reported by many warts sufferers. Although medical evidence is lacking at present the sheer number of positive anecdotal reports of effectiveness, mustmean there is some merit to using Ranitidine for wart removal

Repairing Hardwood Floors: I Couldn’t Handle The Heavy Sander - Now I Have To Pay

Friday, July 6th, 2007

I recently attempted to work on my floors at home. I read up on repairing hardwood floors, and the information I read said that the small, lightweight sanders that you can rent were not heavy enough for these types of sanding jobs. So I made arrangements to borrow a very heavy disk sander that operates just like a lawnmower. It must have weighed at least 200 pounds! I attempted to use it, but I couldn’t control it properly. Now my hardwood floors have these big grooves in them, from the sander. If I want that fixed I am going to have to hire a professional - to do the job I should have done in the first place!

Boost Distribution Of Your Trane Heat Pumps Newsletter - One Good Way

Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007

If you are running a small business, you may find it useful to offer a free newsletter to your customers and interested parties. For example a HVAC business may offer a “Trane heat pumps newsletter” with latest product releases, installation and maintenance tips, and so on. But how do you encourage people to sign up for it? One way is to offer a very valuable gift for free - but only to those who sign up for your newsletter. If the gift is indeed a valuable one, many more people will sign up for your newsletter than would otherwise, just to get it.

Your Best Resource Person If You Want To Know How To Build A Deck

Monday, July 2nd, 2007

If you are seriously thinking about building a new deck for your home, you need to do some proper planning - otherwise disaster can result. And if you want to REALLY know how to build a deck, your best resource person, believe it or not, is your local municipality’s building-code enforcement officer. This is the person whom you go to, to get a ‘permit’ for any construction work done on your property. They are, therefore completely up-to-date on all of the latest trends and proper designs, safety precautions, tools needed. Rely on them as your ’secret resource’ - they do not charge for their services, and they have helped many a family avoid making costly mistakes with their decking and other construction projects.
