Repairing Hardwood Floors: I Couldn’t Handle The Heavy Sander - Now I Have To Pay
Friday, July 6th, 2007I recently attempted to work on my floors at home. I read up on repairing hardwood floors, and the information I read said that the small, lightweight sanders that you can rent were not heavy enough for these types of sanding jobs. So I made arrangements to borrow a very heavy disk sander that operates just like a lawnmower. It must have weighed at least 200 pounds! I attempted to use it, but I couldn’t control it properly. Now my hardwood floors have these big grooves in them, from the sander. If I want that fixed I am going to have to hire a professional - to do the job I should have done in the first place!
