Monday, November 12th, 2007When I am invited to a bridal shower, a baby shower, or a wedding, I do not visit the stores that the bride-to-be or mother-to-be have registered at. I give gifts made of yarn. For bridal showers and weddings, I usually crochet afghans. For baby showers, I knit booties, sweaters, and hats. I think that handcrafted items make great gifts for occassions like these.
