A unique gift-Bodhran
Monday, February 4th, 2008The world is a mixer of tradition, languages, festivals and race. There is also a particular musical instruments for different communities. The Irish Bodhran, is a frame drum played on several occasions. I got this drum as a gift, presented to me from my irish friend. As he knows that I am a music lover, he gave me the gift. I am very grateful for getting such a unique gift. Now I am playing the Bodhran everyday with different songs and bands. The drum has a beautiful appearance and it looks funny. Prepared by goat skin. I certainly feel I have become emotionally attached to it. I always keep it with me and play it whenever I feel bored by my routine work.
