Disney World knows how to do it

Thursday, March 13th, 2008

One of the things that makes Disney World attractions so popular is the continuous effort put into updating and imagineering (a real Disney created verb suggesting imaginative engineering) their current attractions and creating new ones. With continual monitoring, Disney knows which attractions are no longer popular and need to be replaced or updated and which are strong favorites. Of course, some rides have remained favorites since the Magic Kingdom first opened in 1971 and perhaps some of the children enjoying them today are the grand children of some of the park’s first visitors. As well as the four theme parks, Disney World attractions include Pleasure Island and Downtown Disney in Orlando. The bars, clubs and restaurants are attractions themselves and Downtown Disney now boasts Cirque du Soleil, shopping and dining and the ever popular DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive theme park. And if you do decide to go to Pleasure Island, you might want to pick up a little information on it before - just to reduce any surprise and possible confusion.
