There is next to no dialogue in the films

There is next to no dialogue in the films final 30 minutes just a torrent of killing, blood and violence. The films target market of young testosterone-charged males will no doubt be eager to immerse themselves in this blood-fest of stunts and sp Well-shot and well-edited violence porn. Rambo blu-ray Last Blood fingers crossed. Stiffly written, woodenly acted, and indifferently directed. If bringing back Rocky and Rambo opens him up to more ridicule from the likes of me, it’s also the kind of challenge at which he excels. Idiotic as Rocky Balboa was, the punches landed, and Rambo works on its own debased terms, too. I suppose this is what we get for encouraging the man.

Walk Hard dvd: The Dewey Cox Story may have

Walk Hard dvd: The Dewey Cox Story may have its share of flat spots, but its also a very canny send-up of the tried-and-true genre of showbiz biopics. There are certainly a lot of laugh-out-loud moments, which is more than can be said about a lot of alleged comedies. The songs are as great as the story is cute and imaginative. Raunchy, often hysterical parody of overplayed musical biopics ironically sags just when its targets do but hits several right notes thanks to the sturdy presence of John C. Reilly as a none-too-subtle riff on the Man in Black. Theres a laziness to the entire affair, as if the writers never went further than a first draft and never found anything unfunny enough to trim or remove. Goes through the motions of a satire with numerous references to pop music history, but remains flaccid throughout.

Katherine Heigl impresses and James Marsden is predictably dreamy

Katherine Heigl impresses and James Marsden is predictably dreamy in this always a bridesmaid never a you-know-what, been there, done that clich?-ridden formulaic rom-com. A romantic comedy that salutes cynicism over making others happy. 27 Dresses blu-ray Amazingly derivative chick flick. In the final wedding scenes, Heigl is photographed and lit so poorly her nose looks as if shes gone 15 rounds with Mike Tyson. The cast makes it work. The redeeming thing - and its really all in Heigls performance - is that Jane knows shes a silly clich?, and spends most of the movie inwardly wincing at her own haplessness. Light, formulaic and soft around the middle, choreographer-turned-director Anne Fletcher and Aline Brosh McKennas always a bridesmaid tale doesnt miss a pop-psych or pop-culture clich? en route to its fairy-tale ending.
