I’ve watched a few dvd lately

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

I’ve seen a few movies lately. When I buy a blue ray dvd, I look for films that the whole family can watch. My initial selection is The Bucket List. I really loved this dvd.

Observing Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman on the same screen and their characters Edward and Carter embarking on a sojourn of discovery is impossible to resist. Not every film about death needs a hairless Swede and a chess board - sometimes, the sky-diving’s enough. It is not everyday you can find some blu ray dvd today that have great moral to the story and is completely for everyone in the family. There’s no doubt that this dvd has inspired many people to make their own “Bucket List” of the things they want to do and accomplish before they die.

Morgan Freeman is an excellent actor and his smooth calm attitude was a perfect contrast to the brash character played by Jack Nicholson. These two friends find themselves at a loss at the end of their lives feeling they have not truly lived. They decide together to create a list of things they wish to accomplish before they pass away and they really make you smile as you watch them tick items off the list.

If you buy a blu-ray movie on a regular basis this dvd is a clear favorite, this film really makes you ponder your own life and if you have really done every thing you wanted to do and gone every place you wanted to go. A truly heart warming must see dvd.
