What’s with Alternative Medicine?

Incredibly expensive medical technologies, soaring hospital prices and insane costs for drugs are some of the disadvantages of what has become traditional western medicine. Granted, in many cases, these are needed. But not in every case. Some problems can be handled using alternative medicine at a lesser cost and often lowered risk of unpleasant or dangerous side effecs from prescription medications. Some alternative and natural medical techniques are being integrated back into western medicine as part of an overall treatment process.
